The Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA) has announced the recipients of Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) grants from the Federal Housing and Economic Recovery Act of 2008.  St. Clair County has been awarded $790,000 for the acquisition, development and resale of at least 14 foreclosed and vacant homes within targeted neighborhoods.  The funds awarded to St. Clair County represent the second highest allocation in the state under MSHDA’s competitive grant program.
